Calluses can develop on feet, or anywhere there is repeated friction. Like corns, calluses have several variants. The common callus usually occurs when there's been a lot of rubbing against the hands or feet. A plantar callus is found on the bottom of the foot.
The areas of hard skin, which are actually a protective symptom for the feet, can become uncomfortable, unsightly and even painful. Remedial treatments, ongoing care, advice and dressings are used to improve the callused area and lessen the recurrence.
Engaging me to reduce and remove the callus will make you feel like you're walking on air! We can discuss best ways forward to help minimise the build-up in the future.
